Lens&Canvas fine art fair | September 26-28, 2025 | The Grey Space in the Middle, Paviljoensgracht 20-24

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be showing my work at the upcoming Lens&Canvas Fine Art Fair in The Hague, Netherlands. This three-day event is where art enthusiasts can connect directly with fine artists and photographers.

This will be my very first art fair, and it feels like such a milestone to debut my newest body of work in this kind of setting. I’ll be presenting calming, Mediterranean-inspired abstract paintings on canvas—pieces filled with flowing organic forms, layered transparency, and a palette shaped by the Mediterranean. I’ll also have a small selection of work on paper for those with limited wall space.

If you live nearby, I’d love for you to come say hello and see the collection in person. But no matter where you are, if you’re on my email list, you’ll still have the first opportunity to view and collect the work before anyone else. Early access begins September 19, one week ahead of the fair.

Whether in The Hague or from home, I can’t wait to share this new collection with you. I’ll also be posting behind-the-scenes glimpses of the event on Instagram @calex.studio, so you can follow along no matter where you are.

 
Candace Alexandres

Candace Alexandres is a contemporary mixed media artist. Her balance of delicate transparencies with bold organic shapes evokes calm introspection. She is captivated by the quite strengh and beautifully imperfect shape of stones, which often appear in her paintings.
